La Mariposa

hola! hola! hola! hi fam! how are you? Dad and katie thanks for the emails, ill try and write back soon, but theres a package of letters coming soon! Some exciting things have been happening here in La Mariposa, Im so grateful for the help of the Lord in our lives everyday. Today in district meeting we had a cool lesson on how we need to let the spirit do more of the teaching and that its ok for it to be silent for a minute or two or whatever to let them feel the spirit more, it was awesome. Im glad to hear everyone is doing well, Im doing great. Loving life, loving spanish and the people here! Sometimes when I listen to peoples hardships and problems I cant imagine how they have lived their lives without the gospel! The hardest part is the fact that sometimes we cant help them with their problems. FOr example, Jackelin Rodriguez is a new investigator we found this week, so pilas...but not married, has three kids and her husband is a drunk, but he still comes home at the end of the day. They have nothing, aboslutely nothing in their house and she doesnt have the money to go to nicaragua, where shes from, to get her papers to get legally married to then later be baptized. But we know that nothing is impossible for the Lord and she paid her tithing last week ;) I was so happy and she was too! The Lord provides a way, siempre! We are still loving and working with the Familia Santizo, so pilas ellos. Sorry this is short, but i promise real letters are on their way! Tay, how is gmat studying going... ojala que estes hechando fuego!!!!!! love yall so much, this is the true church of Christ and we are so lucky to be members of it and to have the lasting happiness and all the blessings that the gospel brings!! muah!
